I am happy to announce that four of my paintings from "Under the skin" series are now available through 19 Karen contemporary art gallery.
Under the Skin is a series of portrait inspired by my own experiences of different places and contact with other cultures and people around the world. Interested in human's use of mask in ritual, social and religious practices, and as a way to both express and conceal identity; I started this series depicting under masks, figures with the skin rendered as a cosmos, representing how human being is unique in essence, in constant movement and learning.
